    1869 (Nov 9): Combination cover at double rate with Uruguay 1866/67 10 c. green perf. (Scott 36), tied by 'Montevideo' cds in black with Great Britain 1867 10 d. red-brown and 1867/73 1 s. green pl. 4 in a horizontal pair used on 1869 cover from Montevideo to Paris tied by two strikes of the "C28" obliterator. 'Monte-Video' despatch cds on reverse (Nov 9) in black and thence via London where oval red 'PD' applied. Paris arrival cds (Dec 18) on reverse. This cover mentioned in Parmenter & Gordon on page 8/27.
