    1900 (July 11): Jubilee 1 s. green & carmine, a used block of six, a block of four and a single example with 2 d. green & carmine and 6 d. purple on red, used on large part of 1901 parcel to Petersfield, Hampshire from a Soldier in the 1st Oxfordshire Light Infantry serving in South Africa, tied by FIELD POST OFFICE / BRITISH ARMY S. AFRICA datestamps (Feb 22) in black. A few small imperfections but a remarkable and rare usage, probably the largest usage of the 1 s. green & carmine known on letter Gi K41 = £ 1'400+.
