    1862/68: 1 d. rose-red, perf. 11½ to 12½ in a horizontal strip of four and single 1869 1 s. brown used on 1869 double rate cover to the Duke of Polignac in Paris and readdressed to Maromme on arrival, cancelled by three strikes of the vertical "A10" obliterator with 'St. Vincent' cds (Nov 9) in red alongside. Manuscript '1/3d.' credit in red crayon at left. 'London / Paid' transit (Nov 29) and circular PD in red with Calais transit cds also on obverse.
