    1883: De La Rue Appendix sheet headed "Nevis Postage Stamps / Existing and proposed Schemes of Colours" dated at top "Augt 1, 83" with, at left 1880 1 d. mauve and 2½ d. red-brown above 1882/83 4 d. blue and 6 d.green (yet to be issued) and marked "} Existing Colours"; with, alongside proposals for new colours with four perforated Trials without Country name or  Duty Plate in rose ('1d.'), blue ('2½d.') with "} Proposed colours, being those established by the International Postal Convention for these two duties" and in grey ('4d.') and chestnut ('6d.') with "} Proposed colours". Illustrated in "The De La Rue Collection" edited by Frank Walton RDP on page 5048.
