Provisional Surcharges 1886 (March 1): "One / Penny" on 1877 6 d. green, a used example with thin bar in surcharge, lightly cancelled by "A07" vertical obliterator. Perfectly centred and of fresh colour, an immaculate example - just 120 stamps surcharged thus with most not accounted for - just 14 used examples are recorded, a brilliant example of this great rarity.
