    1864: 2 c. deep orange and 4 c. blue in a horizontal pair, used on 1868 cover from Georgetown to New York endorsed 'per RMS 23.4.67 (sic)', each tied by "A03" obliterators in black with reverse showing "Demerara" double ring despatch (April 23) in black (Proud D8) and British P.O. 'St. Thomas' transit (April 29). Obverse with manuscript '4' credit to Britain and circular '10' (cents) charge marking for incoming Ship Letter fee.
