Suez Canal Company 1868 (July): 1 c. black, a used example, with large margins all round, cancelled by bold strike of "5129" gros chiffres of the French Post Office in Port Said in black. An enormously rare stamp in used condition. The Gibbons catalogue price does not reflect the rarity of this usage - just 4 known genuine examples exist, making this one of the World's scarcest #1's in used condition. Cert.
