    1876: Double rate Envelope from Paris to Filacciano nearby Rome, bearing Sage 15 c. grey, a single and a strip of three in type I, fresh colour and normal perforation, tied by despatch cds (July 1, 1876). Reverse with Paris Étranger transit cds in blue and arrival cds (July 4). Cover opened at top and base, shows minor toning, nevertheless a very early usage abroad of the newly issued Sage stamps.
