    1871: Cérès 25 c. blue type I, a horizontal tête-bêche pair with an additional stamp at right, a fresh and fine multiple with good perforation, tied by light Gros Chiffres '1252' numeral lozenge to a triple rate envelope from Marjevols to Brioude, nearly illegible despatch cds (Nov 15, 1871) alongside. Reverse with Mende, Clermont-Ferrand transit and Brioude arrival (Nov. 17) cds's. Cover with some aging, triple letter rate overfranked by 5 centimes, an extremely rare tête-bêche. Certs. A.
