    1870: Cover from Bordeaux to Port-of-Spain Trinidad, endorsed "Packet anglais", bearing Siège 40 c. orange in mixed franking with Cérès 1872 30 c. brown in a horizontal pair, cancelled by Gros Chiffres '532' numeral lozenge, "BORDEAUX ÉTRANGER 14 AOUT 74" cds, framed PD and "LONDON PAID 15 AU 74" transit cds, both in red as well as "TRINIDAD SP 2 1874" arrival cds alongside. Reverse with Bordeaux - Paris ambulant and Paris Étranger transit cds in blue as well a Forwarder handstamp "FORWARDED BY N. HARRIMAN & CE. TRINIDAD W.I." in blue. Horizontal file fold well away from the stamps, nevertheless an attractive item, correct franking to pay the 1 franc rate from in the July 1871 tariff.
