    Fourth Printing Group 1871/72: 1 real yellow on white wove paper, a single example crossed by file fold and a wonderful horizontal strip of seven showing parts of adjoining stamps at base, one stamp minor fault, used on 1872 entire letter to Lima, Peru carried at quadruple rate of 8 reales, tied by neat strikes of "Guayaquil / Franca" datestamps in red (Dec 26) with Lima arrival cds on reverse (Dec 31). The single stamp lifted for checking and is on vertically laid paper, and hinged back into original position. A remarkable franking and a most attractive cover.rnrnProvenance: Collection Bill H.
