    1875 (April 15): Liberty 1 r. blue, used example diagonally bisected (lower right half) on 1878 mourning envelope to Guatemala City tied by "12" numeral obliterator in blue with corresponding "Correos de San Felipe" circular datestamp (Nov 20) at left, paying the ½ real internal rate. The envelope with tiny closed tear at top and small part of flap missing and slightly soiled. Goodman lists just four bisected usages, this describer has recorded five, this being the latest use recorded.
