    Pacific War 1881: Peru 10 c. red postal stationery envelope cancelled by 'Lima / Principal' cds (June 1), addressed to a Peruvian Prisoner of War in Santiago, Chile, originally taxed at '45 c.' in manuscript but 'T' mark deleted by framed MULTADA handstamp with second strike at left. Reverse with Valparaiso and Santiago (June 17) arrival. Slight soiling but very rare.
