    1876: 10 c. vermilion postal stationery envelope used to London cancelled on despatch with 'Piura / Pral.' cds (Nov 23) and rare usage of PIURA / VAPOR handstamp in black. Three line dated "PANAMA / 5 DEC 1876 / TRANSIT" in black and seven London datestamps from Foreign Branch (3) on Dec 28, and circular "s1/6d." charge marking applied - double the deficieny of 9d. in GB stamps needed. Small closed opening tear at top but a most interesting cover.
