    1882: Type-set 1 c. magenta perforated SPECIMEN diagonally reading down, First Setting, a strip of three positions 4-6, used on small local 1882 envelope tied by "Georgetown / B. Guiana" cds (Jan 12) with further strike below. Small stains from gum and indentation at base of third stamp, but used on third day of issue and the issue is rare on letter. Signed G. Lamy.
