    Austrian offices in the Levant, mail rates to Italy 1868/78: Lot five covers from Constantinople or Smyrna to Italy showing three covers with two- and three-colour frankings to pay the 23 soldi rate with Austrian vessels, 15 soldi for the Lloyd and eight soldi for Italy; one cover with 28 soldi franking using a mixed franking of 1864 3 s. green and 1867 25 s. grey to pay the Italian vessel via Brindisi; and finally one cover with the 10 soldi UPU rate.
