1800/1812: Napoleonic period, covers and entire letters (15) from serving Swiss soldier in France during the Wars, mailed back to Lausanne with variety of markings, most with "24 / BESANCON" despatch, some with printed "De Christen, Capitane Commandant du 4eme Régiment Suisse" inside and thus with Regimental handstamps or seals on reverse, other markings include Landau, Huningue, "Regiment Suisse de Riaz" cachets in red etc., generally fine to very fine, with two late entires from 1826 and 1830.Ausruf : 500 CHFZuschlag : nicht verkauft
