    Austrian Levant Rates 1873 (Aug 25): Front with part of the left backflap, sent registered from Vienna to Constantinople franked with 1867 15 kr. brown and two horizontal pairs of 25 kr. grey-violet, tied by "WIEN 25/8, 3-4 N. 73" cds's in black, framed RCMDT alongside. Reverse with ornamental "CONSTANTINOPEL 2/9" arrival cds in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 385). Minor imperfections to left hand 25 kreuzer, the cover with tear and some wear, but an impressive franking for a 7 times rate cover to the Levant (7 x 15 + 10 kreuzer for registration).
