    Austrian Lloyd shipping agency 1837: Entire letters (2) transported with the Austrian Lloyd in its first year of service: 1837 entire from Triest to Nauplion endorsed "Via Patrasso col. P. Vapore Aust. Conte Kolowrat" and 1837 entire from Cefalonia, Ionian Islands to Triest with framed "FRANCA" and hooded 'Cefalonia' despatch datestamp in blue. Both covers are illustrated in 'Die Österreichische Post in der Levante' on page 212. rnNote: In 1837, the Austrian Lloyd was founded. Initially providing postal services on the Mediterranean Sea and thereafter DDSG routes on the Black Sea in 1845.
