    Postal relations with Bosnia-Herzegovina 1856 (March 13): Part paid cover from Sarajevo via Brood to Pest, posted at the Ottoman Post Office in Sarajevo, struck on front with all Arabic 'Bosna' handstamp in blue (Coles & Walker fig. 1), reverse with Austrian disinfection handstamp applied at Semlin. Mailed again at the Austrian P.O. in Brood, where a "BROOD / 13 MAR." datestamp was applied and an 1854 3 kr. red was added, a superb and fresh example with large margins all round, tied by manuscript pen strokes in black. Reverse with Esseg transit cds (March 17) in black. The franking on reverse was neglected upon arrival in Pest and the cover was charged with '12' kreuzer, resulting from 9 kreuzer for the postage and 3 kreuzer charging fee.
