Illustrated and discussed in 'Die Österreichische Post in der Levante' on page 100. rnNote: Interesting usage, the first entire sent from Constantinople when the Austrian Netherlands had been occupied by French troops but before the peace Treaty of Campo Formio, when they became an integral part of the French Empire. The second entire sent shows the AUTRICHE mark in red and a particularly fine strike of the disinfection cachet.
