    1880 (March 22): Great Britain 1876/79 2½ d. rosy mauve pl. 15 used on cover front from Kyrenia to Tunbridge Wells and re-addressed to Bath on arrival, tied by bold "974" obliterator in black with equally fine KYRENIA / CYPRUS circular datestamp of despatch at left (March 22, code A). The lastest recorded date of use of these cancellations as 'Used Abroad', Cyprus stamps being issued just ten days later.
