    1876 (July 13): Combination cover from Beirut to Lyon, France franked by Great Britain 1876 2½ d. rosy mauve pl. 3 tied by bold "G06" obliterator with 'British Post Office / Beyrout' cds in black alongside (July 13, code A) paying rate to Alexandria and France Ceres 1871/75 5 c. green and 25 c. blue, rounded corner perf., all tied by "ALEXANDRIE / EGYPTE" datestamps in black (July 17). Circular 'Paq. Ang. v. Brind / A Modane' cds also on obverse (July 23) in red. Reverse with British P.O. Alexandria transit (July 17) and Lyon arrival (July 24). A delightfully attractive and rare entire.
