    1847 (Nov 3): Cover from Wellington to N.M. de Rothschild in London endorsed 'via Sydney and thence by first good vessel', with red manuscript '4' deleted and '1/-' struck with fine "♚ / PAID / AT / WELLINGTON. NEW ZEALAND." in red. Reverse with double arc 'Wellington / New Zealand' datestamp in black (Nov 3) and London arrival cds (May 9, 1848) in red. Whilst not the rarest of Crown Circles, good strikes such as this are scarce Gi = £ 350.
