    Third British Occupation 1810 (April 11): Entire letter from Liverpool, England to Tortola, presumably carried privately to Martinique, mailed there with octagonal framed "MARTINIQUE" handstamp in black (Jamet type 7) on reverse and displaying well; rated at top "8d. 3 bits" with docketing of receipt "Rec'd 21st June 1810", the 3 bits being the local currency on Tortola. A fine and scarce entire.
