    1791 (July 31): Entire letter at double rate from Tortola to London endorsed 'p. Packet 20 August' (endorsed internally 'per Ship Dick'), struck on obverse with superb straight line "TORTOLA" handstamp in black (Type II) with manuscript rate '2/-'. Reverse with arrivals (Oct 6) in black. Superb and of great rarity with just six recorded examples of this handstamp known.
