Overprinted 'ZULULAND' at Pietermaritzburg 1888 Natal ½ d. dull green, without stop, an unused block of eight of fine colour and superb unmounted og.; Overprinted 'ZULULAND' by De La Rue 1893 Natal 6 d. dull purple, a used block of nine in a deep shade, all cancelled by ESHOWE / ZULULAND cds's (April 10, 1896) in black; and 1894/96 2½ d. dull mauve & ultramarine, a vertical strip of three used on registered 1896 cover to Paris, all tied by ESHOWE / ZULULAND cds's (May 9) in black. Large oval 'R' at left and 'Registered / London' oval datestamp of transit (June 8) in red on front.
