    1859 (Oct 27): Cover at single rate from Nassau to Dingwall, Scotland franked by Great Britain 1858 2 d. blue pl. 7 and 1857 4 d. rose tied by "AO5" obliterator in black. Backstamped BAHAMAS double arc cds in black (Oct 27) and Dingwall cds (Nov 20) in blue. Slight faults due to opening but an extremely rare cover - we have recorded just one other example of the 1858 2 d. blue on letter from the Bahamas Gi = £ 2'000+ off cover.rnProvenance: Harmers, London, 17-18 Dec 1962, lot 372.
