    1921/22: De La Rue Sample Proofs for the Caravel issue 1 d. in deep indigo blue, a perforated example overprinted SPECIMEN (Samuel Type DS1), and Imperforate Proofs on thick unwatermarked paper, one overprinted SPECIMEN diagonally (Type DS2) and the other horizontally (Type DS3).
