    Surcharged by the 'West Indian Press' 1878 (March 28): Provisional 1 d. on half 5 s. rose, perf. 15½ x 15, surcharge reading up, a used horizontal pair with 'blind' perforations between, left stamp showing straight serif to '1' (Type 3b) and right hand stamp with curved serif to '1' (Type 3a),of good colour and fine appearance, cancelled by mute bootheel in black.
