    1867 (June 21): 6 d. lilac, Plate 6, with hyphen, wmk. Spray, lettered LG, a used example on 1868 cover to Florence, Italy tied by 'Manchester / 498' duplex (Sept 25). Circular 'PD' applied in red but deleted in London by numeral '50' obliterator in black when the cover was found to be overweight. Struck with two line INSUFFICIENTLY / STAMPED in black and charged '12' décimi handstruck in black (6 d. underpaid + 6 d. fine). Reverse with 'Susa A Torino' TPO cds (Sept 28) in black and arrival. A fine cover.
