    1876 (Jan.13): American Banknote Co. "Manuel Belgrano" 10 cv. green perf. 12 on white wove paper diag. bisect locally used as 5 cv. tied by pen cross to lettersheet from Las Canas to Corral de Mulas. Due the shortage of 5 cv. stamps, the use of bisected 10 cv stamps had been authorized and usages from larger Post Offices had been recorded from late 1869 until 1875. To date there are seven usages known, the hereby offered cover is not listed. Only existing letter with bisected 1867/68 10 c. circulated in a single province (generally extremely rare in this period). See article in Revista F.A.E.F. No.106 / 2004, certs.
