    1898 (Aug): Postage Due, Large Format sunken Die Proofs (5) by the American Banknote Co., with Master Die Proof without Duty Plate but full engine-turning background engraved in black (file number C-875) and complete set of 4 values from 2 c. deep indigo to 50 c. slate in issued colours, all engraved on cards (151 x 226 mm.) with file numbers C415-C418 and ABN imprint below. Fresh and very fine complete set. Rare and most attractive Gi D63/D66.
