    New Guinea, Stamps of Australia overprinted 1915/16: Cover from Rabaul to the Red Cross in Geneva, Switzerland bearing KGV ½ d green type a ovpt and 1 d. pale rose, two examples with type b & c ovpts, tied by RABAUL Nov. 16 cds's to large format envelope showing notion "Letter for Germany enclosed", censored and re-sealed with censorship strip, reverse with Sydney transit (28 NO 16) and arrival (GENEVE 14 II 1917) cds's. Interesting item showing handstamp stating thta the cover was sold by the Red Cross to raise funds.
