    1840: 1 d. black, Plate 4, lettered AH, a used example with good to large margins all round, tied to 1840 entire letter endorsed 'Prepaid' from London to Sunderland by neat Maltese Cross in red. Overweight and struck with circular MORE / TO / PAY in red with manuscript '2' (double the deficiency) in ink at left. File folds well away from the adhesive, a fine cover.
