    1840: Mulready 1 d. black letter-sheet, Stereo A35, a used example from Edgeworthtown, Ireland to London cancelled by fine Maltese Cross in pale brown ink with reverse, opening well for display, showing EDGEWORTHTOWN / 52 mileage mark in the same pale brown ink. Dublin datestamp in red on flap (May 24, the third 'Sunday' date) and framed London arrival (May 25) in red. The cover opens well for Exhibit display.
