    Liannos Private Post 1865/67: The collection on leaves with Proof pair of 5 pa. in black, 5 pa. black on blue imperf. block of six and three 5 pa. mis-perforated varieties, 20 pa. black on green imperf. blocks of four and of eight from different printings, 40 pa. on rose with striking paper-fold variety unused and mis-perf. varieties, many loose perf. values of the issue incl. some multiples, range of cancellations on the issue with rhomboid of dots (5), oval datestamps of Arnaud-Kioyi, Buyuk Dere, Buyuk Ada, Galata, Kacak, Pera, Scutari on adhesives; Printed Matter circular cancellations "Journaux en Franchise" in blue on white, in black on white paper and on blued; and a December 1866 5 pa. black on blued tied to large part of Omonoia newspaper by oval "Galata" datestamp (Dec 2, 1866) in black, cert. Holcombe (1990). Somewhat messily presented but a fine and most interesting lot (hundreds).
