    Canea / Xania 1883: Unpaid cover from Canea to Constantinople struck with CANEA datestamp (14/5) in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 534), with rare "T" marking in black at left - one of the earliest this describer has seen from Crete, and manuscript charge '60' soldi for triple rate. Reverse with 'Costantinopoli / Lloyd' cds (18/5) in black. Edge wear to the envelope but most unusual.
