    Candia / Heraklion 1867: 5 s. red in a horizontal pair, used on 1873 entire letter from Candia to Alexandria, Egypt tied by circular CANDIA datestamp (20/1) in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 542). Reverse with flap damage but showing partial 'Lloyd Agenzie / Smirne' transit cds (28/1) and "Alexandrien" thimble datestamp of arrival (3/2) in black. Scarce.
