    1894: 'Rocafuerte' 5 c. 'Error of Colour', printed in pale blue (the colour of the issued 1 c.) rather than the issued deep green, a creased postally used example, together with ordinary 1 c. and 5 c. examples for comparison and an 1894 5 c. green used on local cover to Quito. Unusual, the first this describer has seen and does not have the appearance of a colour changeling.
