    1864/71: 1 s. green, a fine example used on 1869 cover from Greymouth to North Anson, Maine, USA tied by numeral "20" obliterator in black. Reverse with Greymouth cds of despatch (Aug 24) and Hokitika transit cds (Sept 4). Manuscript '6' credit in red crayon adjacent and 'London / Paid' cds of transit (Nov 6) in red.
