    1862/63: 6 d. black-brown, no wmk., on pelure paper, just clear to large margins all round with portion of adjoining stamp at top, used on 1863 cover from Lyttelton to Haverford West, Wales endorsed 'via Southampton', tied by indistinct "16" numeral obliterator with fine LYTTELTON cds alongside (March 9) in black. Reverse with Christchurch transit cds of the same day and Haverford West arrival cds (May 22) in black. A charming and most attractive pelure paper usage. Cert.
