    1862/63: 1 d. orange-vermilion imperforate on pelure paper with close to large margins all round and portions of adjoining stamps, 6 d. black-brown imperforate on pelure paper with good margins all round and 2 d. pale ultramarine perf. 13 (2, both with perfs. on two sides), on 1863 cover (with embossed blue crest of Melrose Abbey on reverse) mailed to Albany, USA cancelled by faint "O11" obliterators with 'Dunedin' cds below (March 16). 'London / Paid' transit (May 21) in red and thence via British Packet to New York.
