    London Printing 1853 (July 1): 10 c. deep bright blue on yellowish paper, a vertical strip of three with large margins all round and portion of adjoining stamp at base, just touched at top right, used on 1854 cover to Santiago cancelled by seven barred target handstamp in black. VALPARAISO datestamp (May 8) also ties the top stamp in red. The cover underpaid and taxed with manuscript "10 c." at left. An extremely attractive and rare multiple of the first issue on letter and one of the very few taxed first issue frankings. Cert.
