    1881: 10 c. rose on white postal stationery envelope, H&G B4b, a used example to London cancelled by oval framed FRANCA and 'Correos / Puerto Plata' cds (Aug 10, 1885) in violet. Underpaid with 'T' marking in same ink and probably found to be double weight, reverse with St. Thomas cds (21/8), and 'Maida Hill' arrival cds (Sept 8) and seeminly remaining un-taxed. An unusual usage.
