    1845: Entire letter from Rio de Janeiro to Geneva, Switzerland mailed at British P.O. with RIO-JANEIRO datestamp (June 21) in black. Thence carried via British Packet to London (Aug 21) and rated there at '3/3d.' to pay. Reverse with two line italic "England / over Rotterdam" in red and Geneve arrival cds in red (Aug 30) and a plethora of further rate markings in manuscript. A fine entire.
