    1894/96: 2½ d. dull mauve & ultramarine, a vertical strip of three used on registered 1896 cover to Paris, all tied by ESHOWE / ZULULAND cds's (May 9) in black. Large oval 'R' at left and 'Registered / London' oval datestamp of transit (June 8) in red on front. Reverse with 'Durban / Natal' transit (May 11) and Paris arrival cds (June 8).
