Celliers, perforated 12 1883 (April 5): 3 d. black on rose paper, 1878/80 4 d. sage-green vertical pair and 1882 1 d. on 4 d. sage-green (rare on letter) all used on 1883 cover from Potchefstroom to Hannover, Germany tied by circular target obliterators in black and by "2½d." red credit handstamp applied at Cape Town. Reverse with 'Potchefstroom / Transvaal' cds (May 23), Cape Town cds, London transit (June 27) and Hannover arrival cds. Cover #22 in the Jorgensen census. An attractive usage.
