Borrius at Potchefstroom 1874 (Oct): 6 d. ultramarine on thin smooth paper, clear printing, rouletted 15½-16, used on 1875 cover (a Davis envelope judging back the oval ribbon seal on reverse) from Bloemhof to Boshof, Orange Free State, cancelled by circular "5" numeral obliterator in black. Reverse with POTCHEFSTROOM / Z.A.R. / ZUID AFRIKA cds of transit (March 29), BLOEMFONTEIN / O.V.STAAT transit cds (April 8) and obverse with BOSHOF / OV.STAAT arrival cds in black (April 9).
