    Typographed by M.J. Viljoen in Pretoria 1870 (May 24): 1 s. yellow green, coarse impression, on thicker hard paper, an unused imperforate block of four showing variety: "first stamp both vertically and horizontally tête-bêche", from the right pane positions 1-2/9-10, with clear to large margins all round, of fine colour and superb large part yellow streaky original gum. There are six recorded pairs, of which four are housed in museum collections and one in private hands. There are two blocks of four, this block and one in the collection of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. A great rarity of both Transvaal, South African and British Colonial philately, with just this block of four remaining in private hands and thus unique to collectors. Cert.
